Advanced Materials for Micro- and Nano- Systems (AMM&NS) • Unique and modern in content • focuses on micro and nano systems for • microelectronic applications • -encompasses material growths, processing, • microstructures, properties performance • and characterisation • - emphasises on fundamental principles • involving thermodynamics, kinetics, electronic, • optical and magnetic properties • Web-based capabilities for characterisation at a distance • Additional electives for Ph.D candidates can be chosen • from MIT list of courses • Eligibility: A good dose in semiconductor materials: Science; • Electrical & Electronic Eng; Physics, Chemistry.

High Performance Computation for Engineered Systems (HPCES) in Engineering Science and Systems Optimization • Master of Science in HPCES • Professional Master’s focuses on the critical and effective application • of existing simulation and optimization software. • Doctor of Philosophy in HPCES • Research doctorate emphasizes the formulation, analysis • and implementation of existing and new • computational techniques. • Eligibility: Maths, Engineering, Science

  17. Eligibility Criteria • Hold an undergraduate degree from NUS, NTU or one of the top overseas universities • Qualify for admission into one of the 1-year full-time MSc courses eligible for sponsorship under this Programme

Eligibility Criteria • At least a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering • Knowledge or specialization in one of the following: • Microelectronics • C/C++/Java programming, wireless communications, networking • Optics/Optical Communications • Interest in upgrading yourself with technical training before embarking on your career
