Midterm-Exam • Covers Chapters 1,2,3 of the textbook & the related lectures • Duration: 50 minutes • Location: In class • Weight: 15% of the course mark
Questions • 41 multiple choice • One is a bonus question • Each: (0.25) point • Sum: 10.25 points • 8 short answer questions • Between two of them, choose & answer ONLY one • If you answer both of them, ONLY the first one will be marked. • Sum: 5 points
Instructions-I • Try to be in the class at least 5-10 minutes before the exam • Bring your student Identification Card • Before exam, put your bags and text-book in front of the class • Put your name, date of the exam, & student number both on the scantron-card and on your exam questions
Instructions-II • You will not be penalized for your wrong answers • For the multiple choice questions, only your Scantron-card will be marked • Scantron-card are graded by a Scantron machine • The Scantron machine will reject answer-cards that are improperly completed. • You must use only a dark (HB) pencil to record your answers in the scantron-card
Instructions-III • The multiple-choice part and the short answer questions will be marked separately • So you need to make sure to put your name on the space provided for you on • Scantron-card • Answer sheet (multiple choice part) • Top of the page consisting short answer questions
