Brokenness is the Pathway to Blessings. Isaiah 57:15. In the world, broken things are despised. Broken relationships are much like this with Marriages Members God. Such are the children and families at Mountain States Children’s Home. But the Lord is close to the broken hearted.

  9. God uses many things to break us • Natural consequences for not following His ways • His Spirit • His Word • Putting certain people in our lives

So what can we learn from brokenness • We sometimes have to be broken to see our need • The power of the flesh in our self-dependence is revealed when we are broken • We see the power of God when we are broken • When broken we cling to God and his blessings • I am only as good to God as I am broken to God
