  2. What is Track’Em? Track’Em is a Microsoft Access database system that can be used to track consumable inventory and fixed assets. Track’Em Standard consists of a password protected menu system, a portable barcode scanner kit, and 500 pre-printed barcode labels – all for only $895. Track’Em can be run from a single PC or over a network at NO ADDITIONAL COST! Track’Em can be used to track fixed assets (uniquely numbered items like tools, documents, and equipment) as well as consumable inventory (items with identical barcodes such as boxes of copy paper). In case you do not already own Microsoft Access, a free RUNTIME version of Access 2003 is provided with Track’Em.

  4. The reports included with Track’Em allow you to see the current status of your consumable inventory and / or fixed assets.   5. Simple or Advanced data entry screens – your choice. You can easily change field descriptions or hide unused fields. Track’Em Add / Edit Assets – Simple Form Track’Em Add / Edit Assets – Advanced Form – You control the field descriptions and which ones are displayed.

  6. The Unitech PT630 portable scanner provided with Track’Em is easy to use. Merely select what type of information you want to collect, scan or type the information, connect the scanner to the PC and click the button shown below. The Track’Em database is automatically updated with the information you entered on the portable scanner. The PT630 can withstand a 5 foot drop to concrete and is sealed against moisture and dust.   7. Importing and exporting data using Track’Em is a snap. Merely select the table, select the fields, and click the IMPORT or EXPORT button. Select EXCEL or Comma Delimited Text file format. Data import / export form

  8. System Administration menus allow you to easily customize Track’Em. Change field name and / or menu option descriptions. You can set password security levels for different menu options as well as hide unused menu options. Kit / Component relationships are created using these menus. You can automatically adjust component inventory levels when you adjust the master kit number record.

  9. MS Access listing of Track’Em reports You can open the Track’Em MDB file and customize any of the Track’Em reports or forms using MS Access. The Track’Em tables provide dozens of fields for data entry – many of which are user definable and any of which can be assigned new descriptions. The Track’Em trial version is a locked MDE file that can only be started 20 times. Otherwise, all features of Track’Em are available in the trial version.   10. Track’Em VBA source code example You can purchase the source code package in order to truly customize Track’Em. The Developer Add-On source code package is priced at $395 with the purchase of Track’Em Std or Lite. The PC code was developed using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). All modules use straight-line easy to follow logic. Comments are included in order to make the code easier to understand. The scanner code can be easily changed using the Application Generator program (JobGen) provided with the Unitech PT630 scanner. Track’Em VBA modules
