    2. My Experience with Skype US Foreign Policy Iraq War Our class had a virtual discussion with my brother, Michael, stationed in Iraq over 6,000 miles away from Mansfield. US Foreign Policy Simulated Crisis Michael interrupted my class with a breaking news report. He played the role of CNNs Anderson Cooper.

    6. Helpful Tips for Using Skype in the Classroom Seek assistance. (MUs Instructional Technology Services - Tamela Bastion and Todd Seibert were especially helpful. ) Conduct a test run if possible. Be flexible. Try it again. Practice using the technology for personal use (grandchildren grow up so fast!).

    7. Why use Skype? Imagine the possibilities. No really, IMAGINE the possibilities! Globalize your classroom. Expand your teaching repertoire. Enhance student learning. And of course, students love it!
