  1. An Interview with Alex Bochis Alex Bochis is the CEO and Founder of MobileGameGraphics.com, operated and owned by his Project Management consultancy company Green Sector IT AB (LLC). Constant changing environments and projects is what led him to the vast experience he gathered from working in large sectors such as Energy, Medical, Telecom, Automotive, Finance and of course Games, which is favourite and newest endeavour. His contribution as Project Manager led to new and effective implementations of processes and systems, vastly improving manufacturing, lead times and communications to some of brands you know, including Shell, Telia, Thule, Tetra Pak and Nordea. When he isn’t working on completing different sized projects and running the company, Alex is volunteering as a tutor, teaching small to large businesses how to adapt to the constant changes of Social Media and finding the marketing strategy that works for their specific products. His latest venture called Mobile Game Graphics is about creating incredible graphical assets for game developers of all ages around the globe. He believes that anyone is able to create games today, especially with the easy and great game building tools made available today. Alex believes that creating your own game is such a fun and important experience where everyone can express and incorporate their feelings into it, and fantasy can be set completely free and there are no boundaries to what you can actually create. As he sometimes put’s it “Only your imagination is the limit!”

  2. How did you get started in this business? What inspired you to start this business? I started by creating and publishing a game. During this venture I got to know the supporting game developer community which was a great experience with people from all over the world coming together on a single topic, sharing ideas, thoughts and most important of all – their own experience and stories. At the same time, there was a great need for people to have consistent and great graphics in their game, but that proved to be costly and time consuming. How do you make money? Primary source of income is through Project Management firm, called Green Sector IT, but also form selling ready game assets on MobileGameGraphics.com How long did it take for you to become profitable? For MobileGameGraphics.com we are still in the investment phase of the business. When you were starting out, was there ever a time you doubted it would work? If so, how did you handle that? We had some challenges predicting what type of game graphics and themes to create and what type of formats and sizes that would be popular in the future as well. How did you get your first customer? I believe it must’ve been some of our firsts posts on Facebook, announcing the launch of our website, back in July 2015. What is one marketing strategy (other than referrals) that you’re using that works really well to generate new business? At the moment it’s hard to say as we just got started, but I believe different social media channels and game developer forums brings a lot of new visitors. What is the toughest decision you’ve had to make in the last few months? Switching to different web solution, after realising the original solution did not fit our requirements after all.

  3. What do you think it is that makes you successful? I do what I do from the heart first, and then add a spice of intelligence and logic. Making people feel comfortable around you and radiating a positive vibe is all it takes – that’s leadership and that’s what makes people follow you on your journey. What has been your most satisfying moment in business? Receiving the positive feedback from customers, knowing people are truly satisfied and happy with our services or using our products. What does the future hold for your business? What are you most excited about? I have big plans to bring the indie game developer community even closer together, with Google Hangouts, forums, tutorials, support and tools all under the same roof. What sets your business apart from others? I believe our quality differs from existing ready assets out there. We are not about quantity, but quality, that’s why we only launch 1-2 themes a month, carefully reviewing and changing the assets until we think they will look awesome in a game. We’ve also been inspired by crowd funding milestones found on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, implementing Milestone rewards of our own, where we give back to the customers by updating the theme that reaches 50, 100 or 300 shares on all social media channels combined. For example, if a theme is shared 50 times in total over any number of social media channels found on our page, we will update that specific theme with new characters, backgrounds, and more, as specified under each theme, for free.
