ABSTRACT:<br>This paper focuses on autonomous vehicles. The importance of autonomous vehicles is displayed by the hundreds of billions of dollars invested in this technology by the automotive industry. Smaller companies that started from the ground up and developed autonomous technology were suddenly purchased for billions of dollars showing how the race among companies to be the first to reach the autonomous vehicle goal of full autonomous capability. This article will discuss three critical elements that are a crucial part of the overall AV system which are Sensor Fusion, Localization, and Computer Vision.<br>
