  2. The  Sanjay LeelaBhansali flick BajiraoMastani is touted as an epic historic flick which portrays the love story of PeshwaBajirao and his second wife Mastani. While the makers used forts and palaces for outdoor shoots, a huge chunk of the film was shot on the sets created for the movie at the Mumbai Film City studios in Goregaon Mumbai. BAJI RAO MASTANI

Sets of dev das were fancy, gigantic, breathtaking, and super expensive! if you remember the set of Chandramukhi'sKotha, was made around a lake, to replicate Benarasghat, inside a Mumbai film city. while, for Paro's delicate stained glass house, 12,20,00,008 pieces of stained glass were used, and it took the makers seven months to build it! For the song "Nagada Sang Dhol", an expensive set was built in Film City, Mumbai, and even when DeepikaPadukone got injured on the sets, she had to continue shooting the song simply because the set was super costly! Although Majority of the movie was shot in UAE, a small part of the movie was shot in Mumbai Film City. For this movie director, AneesBazmee recreated Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace in Mumbai's Film City to shoot a special song, Tuti Bole Wedding Di. The set was designed by art director Sailesh Mahadik. He took 20 days to complete it at a cost of approximately Rs 3.5 crore!
