  2. 2 ○ Bullying is a hurtful behavior that occurs to a person over and over again. ○ When bullying continues overtime, it can be physically, and emotionally damaging for a child and it’s effects could last long. What is bullying?

  3. 3 What can you do as a parent to help your child?

  4. 4 ○ Give full attention to your child and listen to what he/she says. ○ Show that you care and you are ready to help him/her ○ Show your child how to solve problems. ○ Tell your child that its not his/her problem. ○ Let your child know it’s okay to be upset at times. ○ Keep in touch with your child’s teacher to ensure your child’s safety in his/her classroom.
