  6. GPEC • The countries of the Southern Cone (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay) • Various stages of implementation of the GPEC Curriculum • Hazen Ham thinks the ECPCP curriculum would be a good “product” to propose to them as they move forward.

  10. SPAIN • Translated it into Spanish • Sent to the National Pediatric Commission to be evaluated and adopted (Health Ministry ) • Cruces Hospital (Spain), (leader in training residents) has adoptedthe ECPCP • Curriculum. • (October 2015)

SPAIN • Spanish Primary Care Pediatric Association (AEPap) has adopted it • Proposed as the referral program for the mandatory primary care training period. • In a future, all the educational, formative and meetings contents published in this Association web will be organized as curriculum competences  list.

  12. SPAIN • It was presented at the Spanish National Paediatric Congress (AEP) and won the prize to the best ten communications of more than thousand submitted

I will circulate widely within the ALAPE community and we will also post the publication on the GPEC website as we have the English version. You should be VERY proud of the work you are doing to disseminate common standards for pediatric training and practice. “

Please read the following: It is with pleasure that GPEC introduces the new global pediatric curriculum developed by the European Confederation of Primary Care Pediatrics (ECPCP).  This curriculum is based upon the GPEC Global Pediatric Curriculum that is currently being adopted in the Southern Cone countries via FOSPECS.  Our colleagues in Spain have recently provided a beautiful Spanish version of the ECPCP curriculum and is available now from our website. The curriculum may be well-suited for primary care in many Latin American countries and we invite you to preview this document at your leisure. GPEC Workshop: We will formally introduce the new ECPCP global curriculum for primary care at the GPEC Workshop in Lima, Peru on Thursday 12th November.  Please join us for the workshop and see for yourselves the various experiences that are occurring in Latin America around adoption of a global curriculum.  (To register for this workshop please see the ALAPE website.) ECPCP • Afterlastmeeting in Berlinweagreed: • “Since we don´t have a common institutional way for all European countries, maybe EUROPEAN PRIMARY CARE PEDIATRIC SOCIETIES could present the curriculum to their official training committees/commissions WITH AN INTRODUCTION FROM ECPCP EXECUTIVE BUREAU” • Gottfried on behalf ECPCP executive committee sent a letter by e-mail to every ECPCP EUROPEAN PRIMARY CARE PEDIATRIC SOCIETY • Gottfriedwillsendlettersto EAP and EPA presidentssharingtheCurriculum.

  18. FUTURE… • AT THIS POINT, WE SHOULD REFLECT ON: • Sould the Curriculum Working Group carry on with EPAs ? • First, we should focus on its diffusion and implementation in Europe ?? • Both
