What do people do with qualitative data like this? How might we organize the information in order to make more sense out of it?
Opener • As you read through the comments, answer: What are the themes of reflection? • Share the themes you found with others at your table.
Pareto Charts A pareto chart is one of the quality tools that help us make sense out of data and/or information. (graph the data, graph the data, graph the data!) Use a pareto chart when you are trying to separate the vital few vs. the trivial many.
Analyzing Data How might we use the information from the pareto charts to guide future decisions about instruction?
