Is an Activboard appropriate for pre-k or kindergarten classes? Yes! An Activboard is a very appropriate teaching tool at the early childhood level. The possibilities for using an Activboard in any early childhood classroom are endless, you are only limited by your imagination.
What are the benefits of using an Activboard? • Use of an interactive whiteboard can: • Increase student motivation • Add depth and complexity to your teaching that you • never thought imaginable, even with the youngest • students. • Deepen understanding of concepts being taught by • allowing students to manipulate the board • independently.

Activboard Tips for Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher Tip: Use Activ student viewer at classroom computers. Students can view the flipcharts and manipulate them individually at each computer.
Activboard Tips for Pre-K and Kindergarten Teacher Tip: Mount Activboards in pre-k or kindergarten classrooms between 18-22 inches from floor. If they are mounted too high students are not able to use them effectively.
