Course Description Computer Applications is a business course designed to provide students with computer concepts including Windows 2000 operating system, and Microsoft Office 2000 applications: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Coverage of these applications provide for Core certification in MOUS.

Course Outline For each application: • Pre-Test (Must achieve 85% to test out) • Begin individualized course of study • Test out of each lesson (90% required) • Post-Test (Must achieve 85%)
Grade: Participation points of 3 points each day Completion of 4 units of study: C = Word and Excel B = PowerPoint A = Access Attendance A daily 3 point deduction will occur for all absences! Earn back a point for each quarter hour made up in the lab Evaluation Methods
Supplies Needed: • 2-pocket folder with fasteners • Pen or pencil
Classroom Expectations • Bring materials to class every day! • Pay attention at all times. • Be respectful! • Stay in assigned seat until dismissed by teacher. • Push chair in when dismissed from class!
Computer Lab Agreement • Using objectionable language • Logging in under another user’s ID • Unapproved copying of any program or file • Unauthorized use of a program • Violation of SACS District Internet Use Agreement • Defacing, disassembling, or destroying any computer software or hardware
