Present collaborations • Technical operation of Angola and Cape Verde DNS ccTLD. • Building capacity for future local registry in Cape Verde. • Since March 2009, inclusion of Cape Verde University in the Portuguese Digital Library Service (www.b-on.pt) • Partner of ongoing 6DEPLOY project (www.6deploy.org) promoting the deployment of IPv6 projects in Africa. Workshop held by FCCN in Maputo in 2008. • Currently helping the creation of a Computer Security Incident Response Teams in Cape Verde.

Current areas of expertise • Optical Networking. • IP Routing and LIR management. • IPv6. • DNS (ccTLD and DNSSEC) • VoIP and ENUM. • Mobility (Wi-fi and Shibolleth). • Videoconferencing (H.323, HD). • Digital Libraries and Open Access. • Web Archive and Indexing. • Datacentre and Exchange Point Management. • Computer Security Incident Response Teams

  4. Past collaborations • Capacity building in São Tomé and Principe DNS ccTLD. • Partner of 6DISS project (www.6diss.org), promoting the dissemination of IPv6 knowledge in Africa. Workshop participated by FCCN in Port Elizabeth, in 2005. • In the 90’, the University of Agosting Neto in Angola was connected to FCCN network through a direct leased line.
