I visited a nutritionist in Watford to help me out as I found it quite a struggle to 'get on the right path'. It proved to be one of the best things I did. Having someone sit down in front of you telling you that you are eating crap food and if you carry on the way you are going it will be a heart attack or diabetes to look forward to, or if you are really lucky, both! Is a real wake up call. I remember the embarrassment of the food diary, seeing what you actually eat (and you have to be honest here) in just one week is scary.
