  1. The Spur Gears are widely used precision cylindrical gears for various applications. Normally, these gears feature a simple design with straight and parallel teeth. It is positioned around the circumference of the cylinder body having the central bore that would fit the shaft. Gear will be machined with the hub for adding more thickness to the gear body around the bore. The central bore is broached allowing the spur gear to fit in the keyed shaft or spline.
