  1. Delicious Veggie Recipes That Children Will Love While some children adore vegetables, others dislike them but will still eat them without much of a fuss. The majority of other children, however, detest eating them when they are sprinkled with their preferred spice blend. You understand as a parent how essential it is for your child to consume a variety of meals everyday, including vegetables, in order to achieve their daily ideal nutritional consumption needs. If you are having trouble getting your kids to eat their vegetables, there are a few things you can do to make sure they are receiving the recommended daily amount without making a scene. By veggies, we are referring to everything, including vegetables like spinach and kale as well as beets, cauliflower, and peas. While making a tall glass or sipper full of green smoothies that are indeed packed with tasty and healthy fruits is one of the simplest methods to ensure that your child is getting all of their leafy greens. While smoothies are wonderful for fruits and green vegetables, you can't mix up other vegetables and serve it up to them. For this reason, we've got a few tasty veggie recipes that they won't blink an eye at. Veggie kebabs - Kids adore cutlets and kebabs to the hilt. So it's the ideal means of getting all kinds of nutritious vegetables into their bellies. Most often, capsicum, carrots, beetroots, potatoes, French beans, and peas are used to mixed veggie cutlets. However, you are not limited to those vegetables; you can also experiment with other vegetables to see how the final cutlet turns out, such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, papdi, etc. Finely chop the vegetables or, if you prefer, thinly julienne them to make them undetectable. You can shallow fry them after adding a binding agent, a dash of mixed herbs masala, and other mild spices. Just like with frozen momos or fries, depending on your choice, you could even try deep-frying them or airfrying them. Vegetarian kofta- This veggie-loaded curry makes the ideal weekend supper for kids of all ages and the entire family. You must steam and coarsely chop vegetables including potatoes, capsicum, green peas, carrots, and cauliflower in a food processor to prepare the vegetable koftas for this delectable dish. If you want to make the kofta balls a little bit creamier and tastier, you can even add in a bit of cottage cheese or even cheese to this mix. Besan (used as an ingredient to bind it all in) and all of your preferred spices should be added to a large bowl. If you want to add a bit of a spicy, tangy or unique flavor to these balls, check online for new and interesting spices. Make balls out of this mixture and deep fried them. After that, add it to any of your special curries. Veg Dumplings - Sometimes it's hard to find recipes that are both healthy and appealing. Want to make veg momos at home? Then this veg dumpling recipe is easy enough for little ones to help make and delicious enough that they'll want seconds! Vegetarian momos are dumplings stuffed with veggies, then steamed. The filling can be any vegetable you like; we love making them with cauliflower and spinach in place of meat. You can also use any type of flour for the dough: plain wheat flour, whole wheat flour or even buckwheat or cornmeal (in a pinch). What’s even cooler about this recipe is that there's no need to boil your pot when preparing this recipe—a quick steam in the microwave will do just fine! When it comes to the momo filling, you can use the vegetables or any greens you feel fit. While freshly chopped green cabbage and carrots are the best for sure, you could also add frozen or fresh veggies, any kind of cheese like feta or cottage cheese, spices, minced meat or tofu and herbs like coriander and basil. You can also refrigerate or freeze these dumplings to make it easier to cook later on. Just cook them until they're warmed all the way through. Prasuma.com

  2. Mixed veggie pav bhaji - People of all ages enjoy pav bhaji's buttery, spicy, and tangy flavour, but kids especially do. Typically, only potatoes, tomatoes, onions, green peas, capsicums, carrot, and cauliflower are used in pav bhaji dishes. Although, you could easily make this popular street dish even more healthy by adding in more veggies you like. It's a success so long as you season the pav bhaji nicely and appealing to kids and the kids won’t really be able to tell that there are so many vegetables in it. Depending on their age, kids can help you make these fun veg snacks. The older ones can roll out the dough for the dumplings or stir the pav bhaji, while younger ones can help stuff the veg momos with veggies or mix all the veggies together for the kebabs. It’s a great way to get them involved in cooking and they will love mixing it all up together! You can also make it a fun activity with all of your family members around. They can help roll out the dough and stuff the momos by themselves or even just watching you do it first if they want to get involved later on down the line after they have seen how delicious these are!
