  2. Discrimination in the workplace is something that nobody should have to deal with. It is wrong, and the federal government prohibits it. If you look at the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, you can see a list of the types of workplace discrimination that are prohibited.

  3. When most people think of workplace discrimination, they think about race or gender discrimination. Those are wrong, but they are by no means the only kinds of discrimination that occur.

  4. Workplace discrimination can create a hostile work environment and that is not okay. Often, instead of firing someone, coworkers and supervisors will make employees feel uncomfortable and unwanted. They will continue their discrimination until the person quits.
