DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING (BTE Code - 691) Duration : 3 Years (6 semesters) full time course Specialization : • Mechanical Engineering ( Production) • Civil Engineering Totals seats : 60 in each Specialization ELIGIBILITY First Year 10th pass from a recognized board of secondary education. Lateral Entry to Second Year 12th pass from a recognized board of secondary education with maths as one of the subjects. • • Computer Science & Engineering Electronics Engineering ADMISSION PROCEDURE Through (JEECUP) Entrance Examination: Students who qualify Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP) conducted by Board of Technical Education, Lucknow are eligible to apply and are admitted through counselling. Under Management Quota: Students having passed 10 examination from a recognized Board of Secondary Education are eligible to seek admission in I year of Diploma Course. th Second Year /Lateral Entry: 12 pass with maths as one of the subjects / ITI. Online Registration: Students seeking admission in RIET can apply online. th DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Candidates wishing to enroll for Diploma must do so on the prescribed form available at the Institute and online. FEE STRUCTURE The fees will be charged as per the Government of U.P. The selected candidates must deposit all the fees at the time of admission. Admission will be considered complete only when the fees are paid. If the fees are not paid within the prescribed dates, the seat will be offered to the next candidate. UNIFORM Uniform as decided by the Institute is compulsory for all students.

Well equipped labs with computers are available in the Department, run under the supervision of a System Administrator. All the computers are on LAN, which in turn is connected to advance servers. The Department runs various in-house training programmes in emerging areas to enhance the technical skills of the students. 4. DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING The history of civil engineering is as old as the history of human race. In modern context, India is currently among the fastest growing countries in development of infrastructure. Multi storey buildings and residential complexes, highways, bridges, roads, etc. are under construction. There is a shortage of qualified and well trained civil engineers to meet the demand of the construction industry. The Department has expertise in broad areas of Microprocessor based Systems Design, Digital Electronics, Optic Communication, Computer Aided Design and Simulation. DEPARTMENT OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND HUMANITIES The Department of Applied Science and Humanities teaches and promotes practical aspects of Applied Science & Humanities to build a solid foundation as part of engineering education. A bi-annual International Journal that publishes articles which contribute new results in all areas of science, engineering and technology. The goal of this Journal is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on Science, Engineering & Technology advancements, and establish new collaborations in these areas. Ram-Eesh Institute of Engineering & Technology has been approved as a Business Incubation Centre for the implementation of novel technological ideas.
