  1. Group of the 31 poorest countries * *The UN classification for Low Developed Countries (LDC) is based upon three criteria: 1. Low-income criterion; 2. Human resource weakness criterion; and 3. Economic vulnerability criterion. The criteria (and the countries) are re-evaluated every three years.

  4. Group of 13 post/in conflict countries * • * Note: 2006 status of • a) countries eligible for IDA post conflict allocation (= Afghanistan, Angola, Burundi, Congo Rep, Congo DRC, Côte d’Ivoire, Eritrea, Liberia, Sudan, Timor Leste) and • b) countries in conflict (= CAR, Somalia, Haiti).
