A Possible Scenario at Your Library? • A frantic young MBA shows up at your desk and desperately needs your help. He recently graduated with a degree in international business and now must relocate to France immediately because his wife, also a student in the program, just found a job with France Telecom. • Fortunately, he has already secured an interview for a management position with Alcatel, another telecommunications giant. In preparation for his interview, he needs to find out more about the company and French job-seeking procedures and the overall employment outlook. Microsoft Clip Art - http://office.microsoft.com/
Unfortunately, he had also heard that his wife’s company recently had laid off some workers, so he is wondering if he should even be looking at the French telecommunications industry. • If hired, he has been told he may be managing a diverse team of individuals, so he wants to know if there have been any studies done on French management practices. Can you help him?
