  2. Introduction Several Chief Economists have predicted a global recession likely to come in 2023. Also, IMF Chief Kristalina Georgieva stated that with the start of the year 2023, an estimated one-third of the global economy will face a state of recession. The decline in economic growth will be the source of major financial problems in many countries. Furthermore, in this age AI automated world there are millions of people who have become prey to rising unemployment. Artificial Intelligence or AI is capable of replacing many professionals in completing jobs with more accuracy, efficiency and speed. Let’s learn about both factors:

What is a Global recession? • A state of recession can be referred to as the decline in any country’s gross domestic product for two or more consecutive quarters in a year. • Following an economic slowdown of several quarters. So, when these two conditions apply at a global level to multiple countries it is called a Global Recession.

Causes of Global Recession • A state of war between multiple countries • Constant decline in Gross Domestic Product • Loss of consumers interested in the market • Major decline in employment ratio at a global level • The reduced purchasing power of a country • Major reduction in latest job openings in India.

Effects of Global Recession on India • A country can go bankrupt with a constant decline in economic growth and an increase in borrowings. • A state of major deflation can occur which causes a decrease in the overall prices of a country's goods and services, that also leads to reduction in job openings in Delhi NCR. • Global recession can cause foreclosures, in which a lender forces the sale of assets of borrowers to recover the loan amount. • Stock markets will hit drastically and will become the bear market. • Millions of people across the globe will become unemployed as the employment ratio will fall with declining economies. This will also affect the job openings in Delhi NCR, to where majority of employees migrate.

It can easily complete a predefined task with more accuracy and speed than any human and this is the reason for a major decline in latest job openings in India.
