GPS project latest 2004 activities: - June 04 (Toulouse) : visit to Alcatel-Space, discussion on production of TOPSTAR 3000 1st generation proposal of a 2nd generation TOPSTAR 3000 to be launched end 2005 on ESA PROBA2 satellite - December 04 (Toulouse) : training at CNES Centre work on measurements on ground by Claude Zurbach – GAM software engineer who will take care of AMS-Alcatel relation and will contribute to the GPS implementation in AMS A. GPS – summary - Alcatel-Space proposes a 2nd generation TOPSTAR 3000 GPS which will equip most of the future ESA/CNES -satellites and LISA project (price not yet known, but 1st generation price not guaranteed) - 1st generation TOPSTAR 3000 : is in the Thermal CDR simulations documentation for the implementation in AMS DAQ has been provided to the collaboration A.
