Diabolo Service Components for CBS filings Create Instance Pre- validate Send Receive Identify Validate Trans-form Specific Diabolo Generic Secure Conform BackOffice
Findings The Diabolo XBRL services need solid Instance validation components • Supplying company pre-validation classes • Proper XML • Proper XBRL 2.1 • Taxonomy conformance • Context conformance • Receiving authority validation classes • Identification sender • Identification message • Conformance tests • Businessrules tests
Reality Check • Mapping is not that easy, how about 1 to n or n to 1 mappings • Taxonomy design is critical for instances, • What if: a calculation link is due to add an instant periodtype-concept and a duration periodtype-concept from different taxonomies? • What’s best, where and when: tuples, linkbases and/or dimension contexts for data relations • Etc • Instances structures are not yet unambiguously used • Instances are not yet fully understood by software XBRL is the best technique available in software products to take advantage of the internet communication capabilities and unambiguous data modeling
Future • Statistics Netherlands continues to be one of the leading organisations in the Netherlands to propagate XBRL • Atos Origin NL will deliver Diabolo XBRL integration and reporting services to Dutch companies and continue to support the Dutch NTP • Atos Origin Spain will use its XBRL knowledge to enhance its strong reporting tradition and deliver the Diabolo solution. • Atos Origin France will support its presence in the banking sector with the Diabolo XBRL propositions • Etc…
