  1. Gender specific resources for Female Offenders available to Brown County The Green Bay Metro area has some girls groups for female offenders.

  2. Girls Night Out • Offered at the Downtown YMCA this summer • Target population: females of color • 19 referrals generated by the Brown County Human Services Department • 3 or 4 girls completed program • Program content: Lesson with discussion followed by physical fitness

  3. YWCA Teen Parent Center • Provides Case Management • Information and Referral • Baby Closet • Childcare Funding • Newsletter • YWCA Membership & Open Swim Pass • Scholarship Program

  4. Boys and Girls Club • GoGirlGo Educational Program – based on relationship between physical activity and positive self-esteem • Sports – Research reveals relationship between girls, sports and teen pregnancy • Mentoring Services • Circle of Hope

  5. Marion House • State Licensed group home for pregnant and parenting adolescent mothers. • Program Goals: Parenting and Child Development, Vocational Growth, Emotional Growth, and Spiritual Growth • Programming offered includes Independent Living skills, Basic Baby Care, Academics, Relationship/Sexuality, Mentoring and AfterCare services.

  6. Oneida Tribe • Domestic Violence Girls Group • Domestic Abuse Counseling • Sexual Abuse Girls Group • Sexual Abuse Counseling

  7. Southern Oaks Girls School • Secure Juvenile Correctional Facility for adjudicated female youth. • Average budgeted daily population of 82 • Unique programming includes the Intensive Treatment Program, Stepping up • Additional Programs include, Girl Scouts, Skills Teaming, Consumer Education, Sexual Abuse Groups, and Women’s Issues Groups
