Programs and Interventions to be developed in 2007-2008 school year… • Freshman Success Seminar • Academy Expectations for Students, Teachers, Administrators and Counselor • Cross-Curriculum Lessons on Trains • Creation of Quadrant D Lessons • “Double Dose” program • Addition of the “Elective Train” • FINAO referral program • 8th grade students involved more at AHS • More opportunities for Freshman to display talents Rigor-Relevance-Relationships

  3. Make it Happen! Programs and Interventions to be developed in 2007-2008 school year… • Lunchtime & After School Tutoring Program • Literacy Programs (Reading Levels, AR, Free Writing, etc.) • Strengthen transition from Freshman Academy to Sophomore School • Strengthen 8th to 9th grade transition • Career Aptitude and Interest Surveys • Cross-Train Teaching opportunities • 8th to 9th grade teacher swap days • The Birthday Club Rigor-Relevance-Relationships
