  1. Bevel Gears Bevel gears are conical gears which transmit motion between intersecting axes Worm Gears A worm gear is a type of staggered shaft gear that transmits motion between two shafts that are neither intersecting nor parallel. Spur Gears Since the tooth surfaces of the gears are parallel to the axes of the mounted shafts, there is no thrust force generated in the axial direction. Screw Gears It is also called crossed helical gears. unlike bevel gears, there are no restrictions on the numbers of teeth combinations and the speed transmission ratio

  2. Racks & Pinion A gear rack has straight teeth cut into one surface of a square or round section of rod and operates with a pinion Miter Gears Miter gears are one type of bevel gear where the two rotational axes intersect. Their purpose is limited to the change in transmission direction. Internal Gears Since the tooth surfaces of the gears are parallel to the axes of the mounted shafts, there is no thrust force generated in the axial direction. CP Racks & Pinions It is also called crossed helical gears. unlike bevel gears, there are no restrictions on the numbers of teeth combinations and the speed transmission ratio
