IIT JAM is an entrance test to get admission in M.Sc. Program which is conducted by IITs and IISc. IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria • It is the essential thing for the aspirants to know about whether you are eligible or not to appear for the exam. • So, get the basic eligibility criteria for IIT JAM from below – • Nationality – Aspirants should have Indian Citizenship • Aspirants should have Bachelors’ degree in Science Stream

According to the JAM Exam Pattern, medium of paper is English. • Section A: • Number of Questions – There is total 30 questions out of which 10 questions are of 1 mark each and 20 questions are of 2 marks each • Total Marks – 50 • Negative Marking - For 1-mark ques, 1/3 marks will be deducted and for 2-marks ques, 2/3 marks will be deducted.
Type of Question - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) • Mode of Exam - Online/ CBT • Section B: • Number of Questions – There is total 10 questions of 2 marks each • Total Marks – 20 • Negative Marking – There is no negative marking in this section.
Type of Question - Multiple Selective Questions (MSQs) • Mode of Exam - Online/ CBT • Section C: • Number of Questions – There is total 20 questions out of which 10 questions are of 1 mark each and 10 questions are of 2 marks each • Total Marks - 30
Negative Marking – There is no negative marking in this section. • Type of Question - No options will be displayed; answer will be a numerical value (NAT) • Mode of Exam - Online/ CBT
