UGC NET Exam Introduction - National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC NET exam on the behalf of University Grants Commission for the candidates who aspire to become researcher or lecturer. NTA NET exam is organized twice in a year in the month of June and December. It is conducted for 99 subjects approx. UGC NET Exam Difference with CSIR NET Exam - • UGC NET and CSIR NET exams have differences in various terms. UGC NET Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency while CSIR NET exam is conducted by Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). • Primarily these both exams are having differences in two areas i.e. Subjects and Exam Pattern.
