High Performance Futures Targeted players at 10&U (98’s, 99’s) preparing for High Performance Training in a support programme managed by James Morgan. Currently training in Club Performance Squads and will be looking to move into High Performance Training in September 2008 High Performance Training Helping committed tournament players: Improve rating and age-group National ranking Prepare for County representative tennis and NJCL Prepare for AASE scheme (post GCSE – 6.1 rating or better still in full-time education) University tennis – GB/US (scholarships)

Support for High Performance players (buy in to squad training sessions to suit individual needs) Video analysis (free to players accessing afternoon sessions – can also be arranged privately with Phil Hill) Coach presence at key events (normally holiday times, individual coach) Invitation to domestic and international trips (based on qualification) Tournament planning and advice (Jemima, Phil, Pete – Individual coach) Mental skills support – Dominic King (individual coach) Physical training support – Jon Price Education options open to all HP players

The Halton High Performance TOPTEAM Goal – To help targeted players prepare for: A professional playing career – WTA/ATP (top 150) U.S Division 1 College Tennis (scholarships)

Players will be selected for the TOPTEAM based on the following: National ranking – players must be ranked in their age-group TOP 30 at 12,13,14,15,16&U, 18&U) or: Be accepted onto the AASE Scheme (currently rating 6.1 or better) Wild cards may be given to those players showing other exceptional attributes: Athleticism – players must exceed ITF physical testing norms Work ethic – a work ethic that communicates a desperate desire to reach the top Opportunity – the ‘time’ to put the training in Attitude – Optimistic, competitive, resilient – an attitude that will enhance to training environment

What will a TOPTEAM programme look like? - bespoke - support in line with ranking Some additional ‘extras’ > Pro hits > Master-class days > 1 exclusive squad per week (invited players) > 1 annual trip to a GRAND SLAM (French/US) > Racket/clothing deals > 6 Free re-strings per year > TOPTEAM training T-shirts and Tracksuit/hoodie > Boot camp days > AASE buddy system for younger players
