Selecting Your Destination • Helpful links available on agenda assignment • 4 continents to choose from • 4 countries on each to find • Capital cities • Currency used • When worksheet #1 is completed • Choose 1 of your listed countries • Add your name and country to class chart • Pick up worksheet #2 • Start your country specific research for both sets of dates and for both classes of travel

  3. Vacation Research • Flights into capital city from Los Angeles (LAX) • Prefer “non-stop” • First / business class • Economy / coach class • Lodging in capital city for 4 nights • First class • Economy class • 3 national monuments or major attractions within 100 miles of capital city

  4. Dates and Times • 2 classes, 2 dates to research • Early week dates • 4/2 to 4/6 • Late week dates • 4/6 to 4/10 • Keep flight times comparable • Morning • Afternoon • Evening • Keep # of stops similar • Non-stop, 1 stop, 2 stops, etc.

  5. Where to Stay • Find hotel(s) in capital city • One hotel with both types of rooms • Luxury suites or deluxe rooms • Single or basic rooms ~ OR OR OR OR OR ~ • Two different hotels • 5 or 4 star luxury • 1-3 star economy • Research per night cost for both sets of dates
