  2. Outdoor Activities Strathmore boasts over 30 green spaces in town. Two of the most popular green spaces are two of Strathmore’s largest parks - Kinsmen and Grays Park. All of Strathmore green spaces are maintained through out the year and offer an outdoor space in every community in Strathmore. 2

  3. Strathmore Civic Centre The Strathmore Civic Center is found in the same building as the Strathmore Aquatic Center. This versatile Center has been used to host graduations dinners, the Albert 55+ games, seminars, or registration for the annual Strathmore Triathlon. 3

  4. Organized Sport Hockey Strathmore is well known for their hockey program. Strathmore is home to the STORM team and the Strathmore Wheatland Kings Junior Hockey Team, a Minor Hockey Association team. 4

  5. Events Heritage Day Parade This year will be the 53 annual Strathmore Stampede.! The Stampede always kicks off with the towns annual Heritage Day Parade the first week of August. This public Parade runs in the early morning and makes it’s way around the Kinsmen Park and the Strathmore downtown. The Parade has a ‘Heritage Day’ theme and frequently features 4H Club members, horses, and the Strathmore Legion. 5
