Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant Semester 1 Semester 2 Basic Patient Care Techniques, Functional Movement and rehabilitation Developmental Psychology, Functional Development Across lifespan PTA administration and Program Support Essential Skills for PTA - Musculoskeletal Essential Skills for PTA - Modalities and Physical Agents • Intro to rehabilitation, the Health Care System and Ethics • Interpersonal Skills, Communication and Problem Solving • Introduction to computers, applications and keyboarding • Medical Terminology, Body Systems and Diseases
