  2. Hyderabad is a city of international fame. Despite this fact, it is undeniable that a major bulk of tourists visiting the city is from within India. • To many such tourists, Nampally acts as the gateway into the city as the area has a famous railway station via which thousands of tourists enter or leave the city. • Bus counters of several top operators such as SRM Travels,KalladaTravels,KPNTravels,Patel TravelsKesineni Travels and VRL Travels have counters here.

If you are waiting for your bus and there is still a lot of time in hand, a 15-minute walk along the metro rail trail will take you directly to Mozamjahi Market, wherein you can relish the famous HyderabadiBiryani, ice cream and North Indian mithai.  • You can also pack your bags with biscuits from the famous Karachi Bakery here and buy yourself some non-alcoholic Muslim perfume called the attar.

  6. Buses from Nampally to Charminar are readily available with properly marked bus stands next to the magnificent Haj House building.

Other important locations in the city such as Hitec City and Secunderabad are also well connected via Nampally. • The biggest advantage is the semi-empty buses from the area if boarded properly from the bus stands. • The inter-city bus counters and boarding points in the area are just adjacent to the Nampally Railway Station and can be easily marked out.

  8. The area is not that crowded too unless a train just arrived at the station. • Yes, one needs to start a little early from other parts of the city to reach Nampally as the traffic on the Nampally-Afzalgunj route can be torturous at times.
