The Productions We have two productions that run on Saturday afternoons regularly. One based in The Rocks running mid afternoon “The Messenger” an afternoon bar crawl / interactive theatre experience. The other production is in Surry Hills “The Human Torch” and is a later evening dinner / interactive theatre experience.
The Messenger Storyline The Messenger is based in The Rocks Sydney and delivers a modern day Underbelly style gangster experience taking elements of the Sydney 1920’s gangster era, Sydney underground crime scene and New York Italian mafia syndicate all blended to deliver a truly unique and exciting plot.
You have been offered a share in $50 million dollars – All you have to do is deliver one simple message. Sounds easy enough right? Well think again! Not only will the mob be hot on your tail but so is the local law enforcement, detectives, private investigators and anyone else the mob pays off!
In order to deliver your message you will have to solve the clues, liaise with sketchy characters, compete, lie and cheat throughout the underground crime world of Sydney.
The Messenger follows the story of Donnie and Rose, a young couple who are in love. However, this is no ordinary couple as both have ties within crime. Donnie and Rose are sick of the stealing life. They want to do one big job that will set them up for life. Donnie used to work for the mob, he knows exactly what is inside of the mob’s safe and Rose knows exactly how to get into it.
The plan goes off well but with a slight hitch. During the heist Tony the mob boss catches them in the act. Both Donnie and Rose escape narrowly but are forced to separate and go into hiding to lose the heat. However Donnie is a clever guy and has developed a contingency plan for just this kind of situation.
