  2. INTRODUCTION Talbot a company is a well known top leading tennis court construction company in Georgia They built their first tennis court in 1976. It has constructed and surfaced country clubs, private homes, universities and school tennis courts by fencing, resurfacing lighting and necessary needs on a large scale. Today we are going to tell you about the types of tennis courts.

  3. TYPES OF TENNIS COURTS There are four types of tennis courts: • Hard court • Grass court • Clay Court • Indoor Turf Court

  4. Hard Court The first type of court is known as a hard court, which is ordinarily constructed from plastic or cement. A quick surface that usually results in short rallies which favors hard serves. Numerous experts or professionals think it as the most democratic surface because of the playing style. This type of court influence ball speed and it is sticky. It is usually is used in US and Australian grand slam tournaments.

  5. GRASS COURT This type of court is known as the fastest court in tennis because the ball slides through the surface, favors the serve and volley players who takes advantages of the slower foot speed of the opponent. These type of tennis court surfaces are usually been constructed in England. It costs more because it needs continuous watering.

  6. CLAY COURTS Clay courts are usually used in the French open. It is considered as the slowest court in tennis. It is made of shale or brick. For players who are heavy spinners of the ball this type of court is very helpful for them and they earn more points on it.

  7. INDOOR COURT Numerous players enjoy playing indoor tennis but most grand slam competitions are being played outdoors. It is considered as a medium speed court and also has less chances of knee and ankle stress. Wood is also used for indoor court surface but it is faster than any other court.
