What is Special School? A special needs school is a school that has been set up to cater to children with special needs. So the name of the school itself is special. In addition to the name, special needs schools also have special teachers who have extra training to deal with the special needs of their students. Special education teachers provide support services to students in the classroom setting, helping students with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. Sometimes, special education teachers work in schools with primarily special needs students, such as at a special needs school. Other times, they work in regular classrooms, where their main purpose is to help students in need.
What is the term for a teacher who has special needs students? The term for a teacher who has special needs students is a "special education teacher". These teachers teach in a special education classroom, which is also called a resource room. A resource room is different from a mainstream classroom, because students in the resource room have special needs. Teachers that teach in mainstream classes are called general education teachers. The term "general education", of course, refers to the "regular" classes.
What is fading in special education? • The number of students with disabilities in special education is falling. As a social trend, the number of children diagnosed with a disability is steadily decreasing. This has been attributed to the increased prevalence of such conditions as ADHD and Autism—epidemics that are often misdiagnosed as intellectual disability. Additionally, the development of early intervention programs means that many children with intellectual disability are identified within their first year, thus avoiding eligibility for special education. • There are many trends in education that are fading, such as private schools starting to convert to charter schools, teachers unionization and the use of outdated teaching methods. we can implement in special education from providing the best teachers for our special children.
