He has had the opportunity to work with many great companies through his career to help them accelerate in new technology areas or to break into new markets and retain and attract new customers. Caddoo has built his successful career on constantly learning about new concepts and technologies as often as he can. He has been known for his excellent leadership in team settings and his ability to deliver projects on time and under budget. Caddoo just completed his Master’s Degree with Western Governor’s University and has a perspective on the differences between online learning and distance learning.

3. When online learning tools were first being developed, there was no difference between distance learning and online learning. The terms were often used interchangeably. However, now, with better technology and more educational services being offered outside the traditional classroom, the terms are not the same and have some distinct differences. Because of the rise of online learning courses and resources that have allowed students to learn from teachers and peers who are not in the same room as them, some courses and educational institutions have offered a blend of online learning and traditional, face-to-face learning.

4. If there is any physical interaction at all between teachers and students, it’s technically not distance learning. Online learning can be a part of a blended learning system and the main component of distance learning, but simply taking classes online and meeting with teachers or peers face-to-face does not make it distance learning necessarily
