7. The investor to qualify for the program will be making a donation into Economic diversification Fund of the Government or in any of the approved Real Estate of the country. If a single person is applying for the program, then the investor will have to make a contribution of USD $100,000 which is non-refundable into the Government Fund. If the applicant and spouse are applying, then they will have to make a joint contribution of USD $175,000. If 3 dependents under the age of 30 are applying along with the investor and spouse, then they will have to make a joint contribution of USD $200,000.

8. If the investor intends to invest in a Real Estate property that can fetch a return on Investment, then the applicant will have to make a contribution which is minimum of USD $20 0,000. Such a property should be pre-approved by the Dominican Government. The investor should maintain the investment for at least 3 years of time. However, if the investor maintains the property for 5 years, then the property qualifies to be used by any next investor too.
