  2. VICTERS • Under the information technology project “IT @ School Project” • Product of EDUSAT network • VICTERS- exclusive channel for education

  3. VICTERS offers: • Interactive virtual classrooms • Enable the school students as well as the teachers to directly communicate with subject experts and educationist. • Dissemination of high quality education to students and teachers from the original sources • Through Resource Only Terminals ( ROTs) a large majority of schools are able to access VICTERS • VICTERS is transmitted through the local cable networks and covers 80% of the household.

VICTERS- mode of interaction • VICTERS has two mode of operation- the interactive mode and non interactive mode • Interactive mode of VICTERS is used for video conferencing and other educational training purposes facilitated by Satellite Interactive Terminals ( SITs) • Non interactive mode is a complete educational channel • Officially inaugurated by Shri . VS Achudanandan on 3rd August 2006.
