Venzee is a cloud based, product information management (PIM) platform that makes it possible for Houzz merchants to create and update product records in a snap…leaving behind the hassle of building those HUGE spreadsheets everyone hates. How it works: Step 1: Sign Up Without A Credit Card Signup for Venzee is uber-easy and free. Within seconds you’ll be up and running importing the product data spreadsheets your suppliers share with you. Once you’re done, this information will become your Source Data. How do I import data into Venzee? How do suppliers share data with their retailers via Venzee? Step 2: Your Houzz Template Now that your product data mangement has been uploaded to Venzee, head over to Dynamic Data and click the “Add” button. Find and select your Houzz template and then click Next. How do I create a template? Step 3: Match Attributes to Fields Map the attributes in your source data (name, size, color, etc.) with the fields in the Houzz template. (Refer to the tool tip on the right of the field for additional info on what goes where.) During this part of the process you have some pretty neat features like the ability to create tables, add padding, and do math calculations. You don’t have to do anything fancy. However, the option is there if you’re feeling adventurous. You can even create brand new content by combining your source data with the template’s fields. 2. Step 4: Generate After you make sure all the required fields have been completed, click “Generate” and you’re all set. Your Source Data has been transformed into Houzz-ready product records! To view your newly created Dynamic Collection, click “Export” to get the download link sent to your email . Use this file to import products and updates to your Houzz store.
