Who? What? When? Putting It All Together • Think of this document as a map that shows you where you want to go, and how you’re going to get there. • This should be a living document. Remind yourself to update it as you learn more. • Tip: Don’t start at the top and work to the bottom. Your vision and statement of purpose (the WHY) will be easier to complete if you’ve already thought about the WHO, WHAT, WHEN and HOW.

Large group • Ask for students to volunteer ideas. Teacher/instructor will take these ideas and mold into the Project Planner and walk the group through these steps. • Encourage BIG IDEAS – sure cleaning up the local park is a great activity, but have them think big. End hunger in Africa – show that even a seemingly unachievable idea can be broken into an actionable plan • Break into Small groups • Each group will draw one proposed service project out of a hat • The team will design the project based on the Project Planner tool • Each team will present their project in the large group (time permitting) Project Planner Training Exercises Project Rocket Training Module v4.pptx - 13 -
