Luxury Home Builders Matakana is giving you satisfaction and peace of mind.  • When you build your home with Waller Projects, you are assured of nothing but the best. Discover the proud history of one of New Zealand’s leading home builders. • The cost to build a house is usually more than buying an existing home. • This is not always the case, but the majority of the time it is more expensive to build than buy.

  2. Stages To Build A house • Grading and site preparation. • Foundation construction • Framing • Installation of windows and doors • Roofing • Siding • Rough electrical • Rough plumbing

  3. Process You Should Follow • STAKING THE LOT: This is when you will decide where on your lot your house will be located and what position you would like it to be in. •  TEMPORARY UTILITIES: You will want to have power, water, and a portable toilet set up for your subs while the construction is being done. • FOOTINGS: The footing is the concrete that supports the foundation of the house. It can be poured into wooden forms or in trenches.

  4. To Be Continued…. • SEPTIC SYSTEM: If you do not have town sewer, you will need to have a septic tank and drain field put in to dispose of your household waste. • INSULATION & DRYWALL: After the inspection for the rough-ins is complete you can begin to insulate. Insulation is measured by its R-value. • DOORS, TRIM & CABINETS: Time to hang the interior doors, put up the trim, baseboards and moldings and install the cabinets and countertops.
