  1. 6 Steps to Take Care of Dried Flowers

  2. Step 1: Buy from reliable flower stands Florists may trick you into getting dried flowers that are older than they say. Thus, you would have them for only a short time. Make sure that you buy them from a trusted flower stand.

  3. Step 2: Keep them indoors Protect them from harmful elements by keeping your dried flowers indoors. Especially, cotton flowers because their blooms are soft and fluffy, thus they can absorb dirt that can be harmful to them.

  4. Step 3: Place them in flower vases Flowers with a rustic appearance like lavender are prone to discolouration if they are kept in high humidity. Their stems should not be exposed to moisture to be able to preserve them longer.

  5. Step 4: Dust them Removing dust on dried flowers prevents them to lose their glory. With an old-fashioned feather duster, dust them lightly to clean their surfaces.

  6. Step 5: Use nontoxic repellents When storing your dried flowers, prepare a nontoxic repellent or use cedar chips to prevent moths or other harmful insects from destroying them.

  7. Step 6: Seal them in boxes Keep them in dry storage boxes with a breathable seal to keep them in good condition. Do not store them in plastic.

  8. IN THIS TIME OF GIVING, YOU HAVE A LOT OF OPTIONS WHAT TO GIVE AS A PRESENT. REMEMBER THAT HOUSEWARMING FLOWERS ARE ALWAYS APPRECIATED, BUT ALSO TELL THEM HOW TO PROPERLY TAKE CARE OF IT BY SHOWING THEM THESE 6 STEPS!
