God sometimes leads people he loves into desperate situations. “When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road thru the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, ‘If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.’ So God led them around by the desert road toward the Red Sea.” Exodus 13:17-18 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites to turn back & encamp…by the Sea…. Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are wandering around … in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’ And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, & he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself thru Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” Exodus 14:1-4
God always makes a way for His people. “I AM THE WAY and the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is NO OTHER NAME under heaven given to me by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 God’s salvation is complete. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:6
What does God want for me today? 1. Pray hard; but pray confidently! 2. Don’t be afraid! 3. Walk by faith! 4. Rest in God, & be prepared to give him glory! “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.”Exodus 14:14
