  2. Decrease • Decrease – (Verb) – Become smaller or less in size, amount, intensity, or degree. (Noun) – An instance or example of becoming smaller or less. Synonyms: Verb – diminish, reduce, lessen, abate, lower, decline. Noun – diminution, reduction, abatement, decrement, decline.

  3. Defrost • Defrost – (Verb) – Remove frost or ice from (the windshield of a motor vehicle). Thaw (frozen food) before cooking it. Synonyms: thaw, unfreeze, melt, defreeze.

  4. Delete • Delete – (Verb) – Remove or obliterate (text), esp. by drawing a line through it or marking it with a delete sign. (Noun) – A command or key on a computer that erases text. Synonyms: erase, cancel, obliterate, efface expunge.

  5. Excess • Excess – (Noun) – An amount of something that is more than necessary, permitted, or desirable. (Adjective) – Exceeding a prescribed or desirable amount. Synonyms: Noun – surplus, surfeit, intemperance, superfluity, overplus. Adjective - redundant.

  6. Explore • Explore – (Verb) – Travel in or through (an unfamiliar country or area) in order to learn about of familiarize oneself with it. Search for resources such as mineral deposits. Synonyms: investigate, search, probe, examine, research, study.

  7. Inflate • Inflate – (Noun) – The action of inflating something or the condition of being inflated. A general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money. Synonyms: None

  8. Inmate • Inmate – (Noun) – A person confined to an institution such as a prison or hospital. Synonyms: occupant, inhabitant, tenant, lodger, dweller.

  9. Replay • Replay – (Verb) – Play back (a recording on tape, video, or film). (Noun) – The playing again of a section of a recording, esp. so as to be able to watch an incident more closely. Synonyms: None

  10. Reruns • Reruns – (Verb) – Show or perform (something, esp. a television program) again. (Noun) – A program, event, or competition that occurs or is run again. Synonyms: None

  11. Research • Research – (Noun) – The systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts and reach new conclusions. (Verb) – Investigate systematically. Synonyms: Noun – investigation, exploration, search, study, inquiry. Verb – explore, investigate, search, study, inquire.
