  2. Mt. 7:15 • Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves

  3. 2 Pet. 2:1 • But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

  4. False Doctrine of “Once Saved, Always Saved”

  5. Introduction • “Once saved always saved” teaches that it is not possible for a child of God to sin in such a way that he will be lost • Many sincere people find great comfort in this doctrine

  6. Introduction • This doctrine is not taught in the Bible! • It is a false doctrine that provides a false comfort and a feeling of security that is deceptive

  8. A. 1 Pet. 1:5 • Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. • Those whose faith endures are guarded • Lk. 22:31-32
