2 Pet. 2:1 • But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
Introduction • “Once saved always saved” teaches that it is not possible for a child of God to sin in such a way that he will be lost • Many sincere people find great comfort in this doctrine
Introduction • This doctrine is not taught in the Bible! • It is a false doctrine that provides a false comfort and a feeling of security that is deceptive
