What is a Digipack? A Digipack is the consistency of imagery and synergy between the products. They work hand in hand to promote the artist. The kind of imagery or design your going to set out depends on what kind of artist we are looking at as most of them can be place in a category. There are some artist that can’t be place in a category so to create synergy with their product is going to take innovation and imagination to do, as you have to come up with some fresh. They can help to target an audience. My digipack targets teenagers age 13-25 that struggle with life hardhsip the reason that is so is , because they are working class citizen who have to struggle for their earnings.
How is brand identity constructed? Brand identity is constructed through The Artist, The Video, CD Cover and Magazine Advert. They all help to make an artist image. Creating the image makes an artist known as the audience recognise that particular thing that makes you think it got to be that Artist. For example people recognise 50 cent because he always wears bling or he holds a gun these are artist images created.
How are Products linked The products are linked through representation. The representation my digipack sends out to the audience is that it is all about the street. The way we live in it and what we need to do to get out of it. All my products reinforce the message. The colour used also links back to reinforce the media text I created about the street. The colour used was Grey which signifies sadness and distress to the people. The costume also functions well To promote the type of music the artist does as he dresses like the people that haven’t got a privileged life.

Identifying synergy Their is synergy between the artist and the digipack, because what the digipack reflects Is the artist image and his representation of music which creates synergy as the digipack doesn’t just promote itself but also the artist and through word of mouth of people listening to the music. The CD cover and the video share synergy, because the CD cover promotes the video vis versa, because if people look at the CD cover they can tell what kind of video it is going to be. Also if people listen to the video and look at the CD cover the video representation and the CD cover go hand in hand to reinforce the message so they will be more inclined to buy it. The magazine advert and CD and video all share synergy as it promotes the product in a whole and they compliment each other to promote the other product.
Potential outcome of synergy A label that might promote and sell my artist, because of the synergy of the product is aim2break records. It is a hip hop label which is perfect for my artist as they can sell the idea of him within the right genre. The video might appear on SBTV,F64, Linkuptv and so on… The magazine advert would be in supermarkets, corner shops, specific shops that sell the idea of hip hop etc…
