In two years you can become: A designer with a sound understanding of editorial process and marketing, or An editor with a good knowledge of design and production.
You will be taught by experienced publishers and designers in purpose-built studios using the latest industry technology and software Photoshop InDesign Apple Macs PowerPoint Scanning Digital SLR cameras

In the first year you’ll study: • Contemporary Publishing • Introduction to Design & Production • Communication and Copywriting • Professional Practice • Text Editing
In the second year you’ll study: • Working in Publishing: In-house and freelance • Marketing and Publicity • Self-initiated project/ work placement • And either: • Commissioning & Product Development • or • Professional Design Practice
This is a practical and varied course - you’ll learn about: Time management Initiative Organisation Teamwork Decision-making
You can apply to carry on into a third year to do : BA (Hons) in Creative Writing or BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication
