What is WorkKeys?(Testing Component for the Career Readiness Certificate) • A job skills assessment system that measures “real world” skills that employers have identified as necessary for success on specific jobs • 90% of jobs require 3 common skills: • Reading for Information • Applied Mathematics • Locating Information Our educators do a great job teaching these skills. WorkKeys proves that students can apply these skills.

Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) • After completing the WorkKeys assessment students may earn a Career Readiness Certificate. • Three levels of CRCs: • Gold • Silver • Bronze • North Carolina’s Career Readiness Certificate is a portable certificate that proves to employers you can apply basic foundational skills!
